Reglassing is substantially a new glassing cycle to replace a damaged lining which beyond repair. After removal of the existing glass lining and repair of any corroded steel, the same glassing cycle is processed as for new equipment.

This includes all intermediate and final tests of glass lining (visual, high voltage dielectric, statiflux) in addition to a hydro test of the steel. The equipment is returned with all certificates of the official testing authority (ASME R Stamp or similar).
