HEAT EXCHANGERS DPO
GLASS-LINED HEAT EXCHANGERS Glass-lined heat exchangers are used mainly for processes involving highly corrosive products. However, because of the surface properties of glass lining, they are particularly efficient also for products that tend to stick to or encrust the walls of a vessel. Since adherence is prevented or, at any rate, cleaning facilitated, almost constant heat transfer is assured. This jacketed-pipe heat exchangers is particularlysuited for processes involving heat transfer between liquid. 
CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES These heat exchangers are of modular construction, with a number of basic units connected together. Each of these is made up of a glass-lined jacketed pipe, inside which flows the process product while the heating or cooling fluid flows in the jacket. The modular design provides numerous possibilities for assembly in series or in parallel, as well as the advantage of being able to change the total heat transfer surface area as required.
DESIGN DATA - Pressure: inner and/or outer tube: 6 to 40 bar according to the nominal flanges pressure.
- Temperature: -25 to +200 °C.
